CR1 is a cotton rich lining.
It outsells traditional 96 pick cotton linings 10 to 1. This tends to be as it’s 50% heavier than 96 pick linings, feeling a lot more substantial, but still drapes and makes up well.
It is inherently crease resistant due to the polyester content meaning it travels well once made up and resists hard creases.
It uses pigment dyes and so gives a better light fastness and UV resistance than UK converted 96 pick linings.
CR1’s polyester content also improves UV blocking over 100% cottons.
